Using This Page
I believe in the power or self-help.  In fact, even therapy can be most effective when it is seen as a form of self-help.  In the traditional sense of doing things on your own, I offer some links at the right to hook you up with resources that can help you with a number of issue.  There are links to websites, some videos you can watch and self-help forms to learn about handling different problems.  For some of you these resources may be all you need to address the problems you are facing or reach your goals.  I cannot endorse or vouch for all of the information you will find in these links.  I have made every effort to provide helpful and reputatble links.  But, you need to check and double check the for the accuracy of what you are learning about.  Always ask yourself how you can know whether what you are seeing or reading is based on solid facts.  If you feel stuck or think it would be more efficient to tap the expertise of a professional, you can chose to call on me or another therapist or coach.  Even in chosing a therapist or coach you should ask yourself how you know whether the person you are working with has the ability to help you.  I have provided some links on the right side of the page to help you think about how to choose the therapist that is the best fit for you.  The same principles apply to finding a coach or EAP professional.  In the end, you are the one who will be doing the work to help yourself out.  As a therapist and coach I am a kind of consultant and advisor.  You are the doer.
